Hamilton Leithauser is an acclaimed singer-songwriter and the frontman of The Walkmen. Hailed by The New York Times as “an Indie-Rock Hero,” he is known for his bombastic voice, magnetic stage presence, and decades-long reputation as a formidable live performer. Emerging from New York’s East Village nightclub scene in the early 2000s, he has toured the globe playing everything from festivals and theaters to intimate clubs and unconventional venues.
In 2025, he released This Side of the Island, co-produced by Aaron Dessner, earning praise from The New York Times, Pitchfork, MOJO, Dork, and more, and co-wrote and performed the opening theme for Your Friends and Neighbors starring Jon Hamm, which received an Emmy nomination and won an HMMA Award. A fixture of the New York music scene, Leithauser has joined the likes of Father John Misty, Lucinda Williams, and Hozier on tour, and in summer 2026 supported The Strokes on select dates. He also completed his eighth annual residency at the Café Carlyle in 2026, continuing what had become a beloved tradition in the city's live music calendar.
