AURORA Releases New Single ” The River” AURORA has released a new track titled “The River” and an accompanying music video ahead of her upcoming sophomore record, A Different Kind of Human (Step II). “The River” continues AURORA’s use of nature in her writing, singing about letting go of bottled up emotions and becoming more in tune with one’s earthly surroundings, “You can cry / To where the ocean is bigger / Become a part of the river.” In the accompanying music video AURORA stresses her point that humans are simply an extension of the natural world, with intermittent scenes of vines and flowers growing from her own tears.
