AURORA Releases Anthemic New Single “The Seed” and Announces New Album

AURORA has released her second single titled, “The Seed” off her upcoming sophomore album, A Different Kind of Human (Part II) which is available for pre-order now. “The Seed” calls on all of us to take better care of the nature around us, a cause that AURORA herself has long supported. With powerful lyrics like “you cannot eat money” AURORA holds nothing back in this environmental anthem, taking inspiration from the Native American saying “When the last tree is cut down, the last fish eaten, and the last stream poisoned, you will realize that you cannot eat money.”

AURORA cries out for activism in the youth through this song, saying about the track, “I’m missing anger in the youth. Not the blind rage, pointed towards all and nothing. But the kind of rage that wakes you up in the morning, the kind of rage that Inspires you to do something with the power you have in you… It’s time for us to really fight for her. This is a cry for Mother Earth.” The accompanying video brings her point home with visuals from environmental protests across the world. A Different Kind of Human (Step II) is coming June 7th. AURORA will be touring in South America this Spring and Norway in the Fall, check out the full dates here.
