Ti Amo is an album about simple pure emotions.

We started writing this album in Sept 2014 – soon enough there was this feeling the world as we knew it was collapsing before our eyes.

But to our great amazement, amid the geopolitical tension and general darkness, the music we were creating was sounding so joyful, romantic and carefree.

It was also continuously coming to us – day after day – like a constant uncontrollable flow of inspiration (we literally recorded hundreds of hours of music), something that never happened before.

Ti Amo is an album about simple pure emotions: love, desire, lust and innocence; It’s also an album about our European, Latin roots, our fantasized version of Italy: a lost paradise made of eternal Roman summers (hyper-light, hyper-clarity, pistachio gelato), juke-boxes on the beach, Monica Vitti and Marcello Mastroiani, fearless desire and antique marble statues.

At first there was this slight feeling of guilt, before we understood that abandoning ourselves to the healing power of music was exactly what we had to do.

The cover art of the record is our homage to the romantic graffiti you can find on so many Italian walls – I can remember one in particular that was saying:

« io, te, 1 moto, la velocità, 1 sogno, il mio sogno, ti amo »
(“me, you, a motorcycle, speed, a dream, my dream, i love you”)
