For many of us, the shock of Robin Williams’ death is as surreal and intimate as losing a family member. Artists like Robin are a rare light - and we are eternally grateful for the laughter he gave us and the memories we formed around those precious moments. He will always be remembered for a legacy of joy.
In honor of this incredible man, we’re adding a few songs from some of his best movies to todays’ Songs for the WKND playlist:
Good Morning Vietnam, “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong
Good Will Hunting, “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart?” by Al Green
The Birdcage, “She Works Hard for the Money” by Donna Summer
Mrs. Doubtfire, “Dude Looks Like a Lady” by Aerosmith
Our hearts go out to Susan, Zelda and the rest of the Williams family. We wish you peace and privacy through this difficult time.
